The makings of a custom invitation suite!

So why is it that roughly 75% of our clients choose to work with us in some capacity to create their wedding stationary suite? We are able to deliver truly one of a kind pieces for our clients, ones which others will wish to replicate, people will talk about, and ones which leave guests drooling for more!

While we often create ensembles ourselves, we do work with some of the most talented in the industry to pull together others.

Here is an example of a recent order, which has landed itself in guests' mailboxes last week! They are jaw-droppingly gorgeous if I must say so myself! This absolute stunner involved not one, not two, but EIGHT suppliers and vendors to create. Talk about a lot of moving pieces.

Under the direction of Ashley, the insanely talented and sought after designer behind Smashing Cards, these pretties came to life. Ashley's work has been featured in more places than I can count, including Inside Weddings, Ritzy Bee, Southern Weddings and more!

Debi at Blooming Quill hand calligraphed the wedding invitation, the reply envelope, return address and all of the guest envelopes beautifully. Smashing Cards designed all of the insert cards and envelope liner as well as spearheaded the entire project. Stocks were ordered from Envelopments, of which we are a dealer, as well as Paper Source for the beautiful handmade lokta wraps. The map was designed by Australian based Moments of Color. The envelope liners were printed by Vistaprint and the entire invitation suite was engraved by Reaves Engraving. We were able to put the finishing touches on the assembly and drop these stunners in the mail.

Can you get more gorgeous than these???

Fabulous Frocks for Your Bridal Fete: J. Crew Augusta

So who doesn't love everything J. Crew these days? I swear, ever since Jenna Lyons took over as Creative Director we all went from long time fans to die-hard fans. So it is no surprise that I am loving their Augusta peep toe heels, in Easter colors nonetheless!

My feet are happy just looking at them. How about yours?

Happy Friday!

Fabulous Frocks For Your Bridal Fete: Simply Sweet Ramira

This week, while searching for my favorites in footwear fashion, I stumbled across the absolutely adorable, absolutely sweet, Rampage, Ramira. While, it isn't a brand I am normally drawn to, I could not resist this shoe and the possibilities it holds!

Whether getting married in a garden, on the grass, or in the sand, simply sweet Ramira, would be the perfect compliment and pairs quite nicely with any number of the beautiful gowns from the J. Crew Bridal Line.

Leaves me with visions of wildflowers and warm weather... yes, please!

Stream me up, Scotty!

Due to conflicting comittments, age and travel requirements, it is unlikely that absolutely everyone on your guest list will be able to attend your wedding in person. This can be particularly devastating, especially if is a close relative. After all, guests are invited for a reason! When one of our clients faced this exact situation, we were determined to find a way for those not attending to still be part of the ceremony.

Enter "I Do" Stream, of Tolland, Connecticut, a vendor offering event streaming for any occasion. They supply a streaming service to any veiwer in the world so that guests who cannot be at your wedding can re-live the special moments real time. "I Do" Stream creates a chat room, wedding guest book and will evite friends and family to watch the live broadcast. The video is also on On Demand for the next 30 days, superb for those that would like to see the event post, including the bride and groom!

This service is surprisingly affordable, with packages starting at $349. You have the option to use your own equipment and do the filming yourself, have them provide the equipment and you doing the filming, or them doing it all from soup to nuts. All packages include live technical support on your wedding day. No wireless internet at your church or venue? No problem! All you need is Verizon's Mobile Broadband card, or one like it.

Interested? Call (860) 684-5414 and ask for Phil.

Cheers!

Sprinkles Delivered!

It's true, everyone loves a cupcake. Fun to eat, fun to look at; the perfect proportion of cake and frosting.

So, imagine my pure glee to sample one this weekend from the fabulous cupcake delivery service Cupcakes Gourmet. We send flowers, fruit and cookies, but cupcakes??? Genius!

Cupcakes Gourmet, based in Malvern, PA, serves up a variety of different mini cakes for delivery including mouth watering flavors such as cafe au lait (which I tried), dark chocolate mint and peanut butter. You can deliver a dozen of these bad boys nationwide for $24.99 plus shipping. Tell me what person wouldn't be totally ecstatic by this box of pure happiness:

But the fun doesn't stop there! Cupcakes Gourmet also specializes in weddings and special events. Regular cupcakes are $3.50-$5.00 each and mini cupcakes are $1.50-$3.00 each, before set-up and delivery. I know the obvious idea is to use cupcakes in lieu of a wedding cake, but my favorite idea is to wrap the minis individually as favors!!!

Cheers!
