Connecticut Wedding Planner | Amy and Chris wed at Saltwater Farm Vineyard

Set at the scenic Saltwater Farm Vineyard in Stonington, Connecticut, and inspired by brilliant sunset colors, Amy and Chris' wedding was filled with warmth, fun concepts and groovy details.

Admist the late day sun on the most spectacular day in May, Amy and Chris wed surrounded by those they love most. For this momentous occasion, the rustic arbor was placed in front of the vines and adorned with bright floral buckets and ribbon, while mason jars filled with apricot colored tulips and yellow roses flanked the aisle. Amy was simply stunning in her Amy Michelson gown, purchased at The White Dress by the Shore. The guys, ever so snappy in their grey suits and kicks set a modern mood. Amy and Chris’ simple, yet personal ceremony spoke of them as a couple, while soft tunes on the acoustic guitar set the stage for a personal and intimate celebration of their commitment to one another.

Thank you to BinaryFlips for providing such amazing and heart-warming images!

Following the ceremony, the happy couple and their guests transitioned to cocktail hour, featuring a wine tasting and yummy eats served up by Coastal Gourmet. The patio was cheery with a mix of teal and floral linen, inspired by retro Vera Neumann scarves. Pendant escort cards anchored in containers of wine corks and set atop crates were a nod to the vineyard, as well as the fun and relaxed vibe.

We love receptions at Saltwater Farm Vineyard, and there was just something so special about this particular theme. Inside the hanger, the tables were dressed in a mix of ice and turquoise textured linen, layered with white chargers and floral napkins featuring a peppy mustard menu band. The vibrant peach, yellow and nectarine blooms in a variety of containers made the room burst with color and off-set the linen to perfection. Special shouts out to Dragonfly Event and their drool-worthy flowers that had all of us gasping! Coastal Gourmet served up a delicious feast, and the guests danced and danced to classic rock tunes by Fairfield County’s infamous The Short Bus. Whimsical cupcakes with super cute signs by yours truly and a vintage inspired photo booth completed this fantastic spring wedding that left everyone smiling.

Amy and Chris, we adored working with you as well as your families over the past year.  We wish you all the best in your married life together.  May your love for one another always shine brightly.

  1. what a stunning decoration. Here i like the table settings very much. The chairs are looking very beautiful. Thanks for such a great idea.

I have a small idea. instead of leaving the chairs without any decoration, just tying a sash will give even great look.
