Larissa and Garrett

Unlike the weather had been predicted to be all week, the sun shined on Larissa and Garrett as they tied the knot at their shoreline nuptials with nautical flair at the The Pavilion at Rocky Neck State

From the first time we met Larissa and her mother, Lynne, we loved the ideas they discussed, the laughter they created, and the sound of a wonderful, relaxed, seaside wedding vision.

Larissa and Garrett were a joy to plan with, always happy, always smiling. We loved bouncing ideas off of each other, we loved the freedom they gave us to bring their vision to live and we loved seeing everything come together.

We were thrilled again with the fabulous work of Carla Ten Eyck Photography and her assistant Mike Romano. Not only are they super talented, but they are a blast to work with! All of the photos in this post are courtesy of Carla and Mike!

Larissa doned a gorgeous pink gown in the sweetest pink color. It was truly stunning and she wore it so well! Her girls wore tea length pink, the perfect balance to the guys ties with their navy blazers and tan slacks.

Following the ceremony on the stone patio behind the pavilion, guests made their way upstairs to the reception space where they were greeted by their escort cards, hung from fish netting and tied with pink ribbon.
Guests made their way outside to the roof top deck to enjoy the fabulous cocktail hour spread by Emily's Catering. As if the mango lemonade or pomegrante iced tea weren't cool enough, guests enjoyed Lobster BLTs and a number of other tasty passed hors d'oeuvres under the setting late Saturday afternoon sun. Following the cocktail hour, guests made their way inside where they enjoyed quite the dinner including Rick's famous mashed potato Martini Bar and all of the fixin's you could imagine. It was DEE-Licious!
The room was decorated with hanging paper lanterns in various shades of pink and blue, the tables were dressed with seersucker linens, sewn by one of the bridesmaids, sea shells, starfish and votives, and the chairs were covered in crisp white with pink sashes, just the perfect amount of flair.

On top of the table decor, Larissa and Garrett had their own life saver made, which we hung on a window at the front of the dance floor. They used a "treasure chest" to hold their cards, and had a full sized lobster trap near their gift table, which we placed faux lobster, crabs and seahorses in.

Mini sand castles decorated the cocktail tables as well as the sweetheat table.

Chris from Thistles, a Flower Shop in Madison, did a beautiful job capturing the feel of the wedding. The pinks and creams were a perfect combination, in the tin pail nautical containers for the centerpieces. The peonies smelled divine too!

Larissa and Garrett, we wish you years and years of happiness together! We are thrilled that you chose us to see your vision to life and share your wedding day with.
